Eric Whipp

Born in Auckland New Zealand, Eric moved to Australia as a child where he quickly developed a fascination with the diverse landscape of the country.  With a strong interest in photography, he went on to study a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in film and television, focusing on cinematography.


After graduation, Eric started working as a film colourist in the mid 1990s. In his career as a colourist he has worked on a number of international hit movies, including the 2007 Academy Award Winning ™ Happy Feet, directed by George Miller. Eric’s creativity and work on this film was acknowledged by winning the “Vision Colourist of the year” award. Other movies he has also worked on include, Inspector Gadget 2UndeadRestraintLegend of the Guardians: The Owls of Gahoole, directed by Zack Snyder, and most recently Happy Feet 2. His desire to connect with nature didn’t stop him from taking photos during this busy film career, Eric also shot and directed a documentary entitled Rainforest: Beneath the Canopy, which won him a Gold Australian Cinematography Award in 2001.

In 2002, Eric moved to Toronto, which is now where he calls home. After over 15 years experience as a colourist, he is now turning his focus on his photography. Eric has the eye to encapsulate a fleeting moment of sunlight across a rocky canyon, or capture an embrace between a wild bear and her cubs – having the ability to bring to life a single moment within nature and humanize it.



Wade Odlum


Australian born Wade Odlum is a photographer who now resides in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in Australia, Wade developed two passions in life, photography and travelling. At a very early age, he discovered the magic for the captured image and the ability to bring to life a singular moment through a camera lens.


Wade has a Bachelor of Film and Television Production from the Queensland College of Art (Brisbane, Australia) during which time he was able to spend time studying cinematography at the University of Miami (Florida USA). After graduation he landed a job as a colourist for one of Australia’s largest film and television post-production companies.

Over the past 10 years as a colourist, Wade has spent time working in Australia, Germany, the United States and Canada. Throughout this time he has worked on many award winning commercials, music videos and films and as such understands exactly what it takes to capture the moment in images. Working with some of the leading industry figures he has developed an eye for detail that has translated into his photography. Being in the right place at the right time and waiting for the perfect moment is a hallmark of Wade’s photography.

As an avid traveller, Wade strives to capture the wild and wonderful nature of the globe through his photography, with a focus on natural environments and urban landscapes.
